AGREEMENTS & LEGAL TERMS
These terms apply to all plumbing and heating services provided by Yorserve Ltd.
By booking a service, requesting a quote, or accepting an estimate, you agree to the following terms.

Yorserve Ltd provides professional plumbing, heating and boiler services to domestic and commercial customers across the UK.
All written quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
Quotations are based on the information available at the time of assessment or enquiry.
Any unforeseen issues (e.g. hidden pipework, system defects, access limitations, or changes to the scope of work) may result in an amended estimate.
Free site surveys are offered at our discretion and subject to availability.
We aim to arrive within the agreed appointment window, however delays may occur due to traffic, emergencies, or supplier delays.
If access to the property is not available at the agreed time, we reserve the right to charge a missed appointment fee.
A responsible adult or authorised representative must be present during the visit unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices must be paid within 7 calendar days of issue.
We accept payment by bank transfer.
Failure to pay may result in late payment fees and/or referral to a debt recovery service.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a call-out fee.
For larger installation projects or pre-ordered materials, a deposit may be required. Any additional cancellation terms will be outlined in your quotation.
All workmanship carried out by Yorserve Ltd is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion.
Any equipment or materials supplied are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which may vary by product.
Our guarantee does not cover faults caused by misuse, tampering, poor maintenance, or third-party modifications.
Yorserve Ltd will carry out all work with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for:
Pre-existing faults or system defects not caused by us
Issues arising from incompatible or faulty third-party parts or equipment
Damage caused by unsafe, inaccessible, or poorly maintained systems
Delays caused by suppliers, manufacturers, or regulatory requirements
Loss of income, business interruption, or secondary costs arising from system downtime
All work is carried out by qualified engineers in line with UK plumbing, heating, and gas safety regulations.
We will only proceed with work where it is safe to do so and reserve the right to stop immediately if unsafe conditions are found.
Gas work is only carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers (where applicable).
Any personal information we collect (such as your name, address, or contact details) is processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or misuse your data.
Yorserve Ltd is not responsible for how customer-owned equipment (e.g. smart thermostats, sensors, CCTV-enabled boilers) collects or stores data.
